Useful HYSYS Short Cut

Hi my friend, in this posting, I just want to remind you several useful short cuts in HYSYS. Actually, It’s a simple material of training course for beginner. But, in fact, some engineers have forgotten it, although they have used HYSYS long time ago.

HYSYS provides many short cut, you can check it there.It very helpfull. Try it.

In this article, I just share 'hot' short cut key that is often we use.

Flowsheet

==> F4 to Show/Hide Object Palette

==> Ctrl K to Composition View (from Workbook)

Tool

==> Ctrl W to Access Workbooks

==> Ctrl P to Access PFDs

==> Ctrl U to Access Utilities

==> Ctrl R to Access Reports

View

==> Ctrl F4 to Close Active View

==> F4 to Tile Views Shift

PFD

==> Page Down to Zoom out

==> Page Up to Zoom in

==> Home to show overall PFD

==> Shift T to Display Stream Temperatures

==> Shift P to Display Stream pressures

==> Shift F to Display Stream molar flowrates

==> Shift N to Display Stream Names

==> Shift M to Display Stream mass flowrates

==> V or E to Open Selected Object

When you want to check the pressure condition, go to Shift P.

When you want to check the temperature, go to Shift T.

For the PFD, is mainly the shift plus the logical letter ( P for pressure, T for temperature, M for mass flowrate etc,,)
